Rin Kim is an experienced Compensation Lawyer with a demonstrated history of success working in the Brisbane legal industry.

With a variety of workplace backgrounds and diverse cultural experience, she is one of the most motivated and professional lawyers working in the personal injury and compensation area today.

Having a Korean heritage, growing up in Canada and studying law at Bond University in Australia provides Rin with a unique experience and perspective which greatly assists her clients in achieving a successful result.

She is a strong legal professional with an enviable track record and is a leader in her field.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Laws from University of Queensland and a Master of Laws from QUT. He was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in January 1991, and has over 33 years’ experience working across workplace relations, employment, health and safety and compensation law. Stephen is also admitted in the High Court of Australia.

Stephen is a Queensland Law Society (QLS) Accredited Specialist (personal injuries) of over 25 years’ standing; and is one of only a few still practicing from the inaugural accredited cohort. Stephen was previously a workers’ compensation and CTP insurer (respondent/ defendant) panel lawyer for almost 20 years, before transitioning to claimant representation.

Stephen is a regular presenter at CPD events on personal injuries and employment law for providers such as ALA, Legalwise, LexisNexis and Crown Leadership.

Stephen deeply understands the impacts that injury can have on a person’s life and livelihood, both through his extensive legal experience and from serving as an Honorary Board Member and Legal Counsel for the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors Ltd (ASORC) since 1993. In 2021 Stephen was proud to be awarded an ASORC Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his many decades of service. In 2023, Stephen received an Associations Hall of Fame Award from Associations Forum for his pro bono services to the not-for-profit sector.

In personal injuries, Stephen sees his role as not only achieving fair compensation for clients but being a caring and trusted partner who guides claimants through the legal process with dignity and compassion.

In the employment law sphere, Stephen acts for select clients across a full range of workplace relations, industrial relations and employment law matters ranging from front end enterprise bargaining strategizing to back end unfair dismissal and adverse action litigation, HR policy and procedure drafting to anti-bullying and harassment matters, and work health and safety compliance to Notifiable Incident notifications and prosecution defences.

James completed his legal studies at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), graduating top of his class with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours). In recognition of his exceptional academic performance, he was awarded the prestigious KG Copp Memorial Prize, which is conferred upon the graduating student who achieved the highest grades across the degree.

James is a dedicated legal professional known for his tireless efforts, compassion, and personable approach. Raina Jeon was born and raised in South Korea. She moved to Australia in 2015.

Raina has 15 years of experience working in Customer Service and Administration. She also has experience working as a Car Insurance Administrator at an insurance company.

She has a Diploma in Business Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism.

Her main focus is on providing the absolute best quality services to her clients. She is kind, thoughtful and compassionate and is very dedicated to her clients.

Jamie is a Compensation Lawyer who completed her Bachelor of Law degree at Chung-Ang University in South Korea and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Bond University.

Born and raised in South Korea, at the age of 14, Jamie spent a few years in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, demonstrating a great degree of resilience and adaptability.

Jamie is a firm believer in quality, respect, trust and getting the job done first then partying later. Jamie is highly motivated to observe what the client’s needs are and listen to their ‘wants’.

Walun is a practical, down-to-earth lawyer with a strong focus on people in the field of personal injury law. Known for handling his clients’ matters in a diligent and dynamic manner, he brings a keen sense of judgment and personal attention to every case. His years of experience in personal injury law have equipped him with the skills necessary to achieve the best outcomes for his clients’ claims, ensuring they receive the best results and the peace of mind they deserve.

What truly inspired Walun to work in the personal injury field is his commitment to helping people receive fair compensation for their claims, particularly those in ethnic and disadvantaged communities. He vividly remembers his early days in the field, notably an instance where he helped a minor brain injury client who was on the verge of giving up return from their home country to Australia to fight for their claim, and as a result he obtained a significant settlement for that client. This, of many experiences, coupled with his unique multicultural background including his Thai and Chinese heritage and education at Bond University (Juris Doctor) on the Gold Coast, makes Walun an emphatic and effective advocate in his field.

Benjamin is keen to continue to help his clients navigate through complex legal processes and providing the best service possible while doing so.

Amy was born and raised in South Korea until 2006, when her family moved to Canada. She graduated with Distinction from Simon Fraser University, majoring in Philosophy with a concentration in Law. This sparked her interest in Law, leading her to pursue and complete her Juris Doctor program at Bond University in February 2024. After completing her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, she was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Queensland Law Society in December 2024.

Amy has gained a unique perspective from having studied philosophy and it has guided her principles and values to be focused on people. She believes in being compassionate and patient towards others and will aim to provide clients with the best assistance as possible.

Jenny was born in South Korea and was raised in Australia since childhood.

Jenny studied Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) at Queensland University of Technology in 2016.

Jenny has 15 years of experience in management and customer service roles. Jenny’s experience allows her to understand client expectations and strives to meet their needs with a sensitive and understanding approach.

She strongly believes in respecting clients and providing the best quality assistance according to their needs with honesty and empathy.

Jenny is bilingual in English and Korean.

Paris was born in Melbourne and is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Over the past year, she has worked in the personal injury sector, gaining valuable experience and insights into the legal industry. This hands-on exposure has strengthened her commitment to pursuing a legal career centered on client care and achieving meaningful outcomes.

With a focus on building practical skills and knowledge, Paris is passionate about supporting clients through challenging circumstances. She is particularly interested in personal injury law and is eager to expand her expertise into complementary areas such as employment law and advocacy.

Claire Oh was born in South Korea and moved to Australia in 2009.

She graduated from Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics and Technology in 2021 and is pursuing her Bachelor of Law (Hons) degree at the University of Queensland.

Claire has a keen interest in the legal profession, particularly in supporting clients in need and understanding the intricacies of legal processes. Her academic journey and passion for law are driven by a desire to make a positive impact in her community through diligent legal practice.
