No Win, No Fee means you can get legal help without paying anything upfront. Rin Kim Law defers its legal fees & the costs of running your claim, such as medical reports, until your claim succeeds.
If your claim succeeds, our fees & outlays are deducted from your settlement, calculated as set out in your costs agreement. If your claim doesn’t succeed, you won’t be required to pay our legal fees.
This arrangement is known as a conditional costs agreement.

Legal problems are easier to navigate when you can explain what happened in the language you are most comfortable using.
A costs agreement is the written agreement between you and Rin Kim Law. It sets out how our legal fees & outlays are calculated and charged.
Our costs agreement is written in plain language. Before we start, we’ll walk you through it, including the expected legal fees, outlays & any other costs that may arise, so there are no surprises.
Our legal fees are capped under section 347 of the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Qld), known as the “50/50 rule”. This limits our fees to help protect the compensation you keep after any applicable statutory refunds, such as repayments to Medicare, and outlays are deducted.
For added peace of mind, you can ask for our legal fees to be checked by an independent, court-registered costs assessor.
