 I was alone at a sushi counter which was my workplace at that time and was required to move a delivery by myself. I had to pick up various delivered items and move them to their correct place. One of these items was a package of vinegar in a cardboard carton which weighed about 27.5kg. When picking up this package I experienced an instant pain in my lower back.

Following this accident, I was reviewed by my GP who confirmed that I had sustained a L4/5 posterior disc bulge with contacts with the left L4 nerve root.

I was a sushi counter staff at the time of the accident and continued with my employer on light duties. However, I’ve had to resign not long after as I was unable to cope with the repetitive manual handling that was required.

I am very satisfied with the outcome that Rin Kim Law was able to achieve for me and I’m very grateful for everything that they’ve done for me.
